How the Festival score works

Every competing artist has a Score that determines their leaderboard position. The formula is simple and transparent:

Score = (Votes × 4) + (Sales × 6)

In practice:

  • :heart: Each vote is worth 4 points
  • :money_bag: Each sale of the track is worth 6 points

That’s why you’ll often see “60% Sales + 40% Votes”: sales weigh a bit more than votes, because supporting an artist by buying their music counts more than a simple vote.

:glowing_star: VIP vote: counts double If you’re a VIP member, your vote counts double: it weighs as two normal votes. One more way to give your favorite artists a boost.

A concrete example An artist with 30 votes and 12 sales has: (30 × 4) + (12 × 6) = 120 + 72 = 192 points.

How to read the leaderboard In the Festival Leaderboard you’ll find:

  • :1st_place_medal::2nd_place_medal::3rd_place_medal: the Podium with the top 3
  • the full ranking, showing for each artist: name, Talent Manager, group, :heart: number of votes, :money_bag: number of sales, the total score and a bar proportional to the leader
  • a trend indicator (rising ↑ / falling ↓) with the change
  • a group filter to view only one group
  • everything in real time: numbers update as votes and sales come in

:backhand_index_pointing_right: In short: votes × 4 + sales × 6 = score. Sales weigh more, and the VIP vote counts double.
