Buying an artist means taking over its management from another Talent Manager, paying in Loyalty Points (PT). Here’s how it works, step by step.
First thing: you can only buy artists that are “For Sale” You can directly purchase only artists that a manager has listed for sale. You recognize them by the price in PT shown on the card (and the “For Sale” badge).
The steps
- Open the Market app ( InArte — Phygital Music Collectibles | Figurine Musicali AI Certificate su Blockchain ).
- Select the artist you’re interested in (from the list, the “Artists For Sale” grid, or the Watchlist).
- On its card, press “Buy Now — XXX PT”.
- The Purchase Confirmation window opens.
What you see in the confirmation
- Price → how many PT the artist costs
- Your balance → your available PT (turns red if not enough)
- Platform fee (5%) → the Market commission
What you need to buy
Being logged in (if not, you’ll see the “Log in to Buy” button)
Having a sufficient PT balance (if insufficient, the button stays disabled and the “Insufficient balance” warning appears)
Accepting the Marketplace Regulations (a checkbox)
What happens after the purchase
- The artist’s management transfers to you immediately: from that moment you’re its Talent Manager.
- You get a confirmation (“You purchased [Name]!”).
Two important notes
- The 5% is the Market commission and, per the regulations, it is deducted from the seller’s amount (e.g. a 900 PT sale → the seller receives 855 PT net).
- Anti-dumping cooldown: a just-bought artist cannot be re-listed before 24 hours.
And if the artist is NOT for sale? You can’t buy it directly, but you can:
send a purchase proposal to its manager (covered in the Offers post), or
enable “Notify me when for sale” to get an email as soon as it hits the market.
In short: pick an artist for sale, check your balance and the price, accept the regulations and confirm. The management is yours right away.
