Score and Estimated Value: how an artist's "value" is calculated

In the Market, every artist has a number that works like a “quotation”: the Score. It’s a public score calculated with a transparent formula, always visible (just hover over the :information_source: icon next to the Score on the artist’s card).

The Score formula

Score = (Sales × 10) + (Likes × 1) − (Dislikes × 1) + (Festival Wins × 50)

In detail:

  • :shopping_cart: Each sale is worth +10 points
  • :+1: Each Like is worth +1 point
  • :-1: Each Dislike is worth −1 point
  • :trophy: Each Festival win is worth +50 points

Practical example An artist with 8 sales, 20 Likes, 3 Dislikes and 0 wins has: (8 × 10) + 20 − 3 + 0 = 97 Score If that same artist won 1 Festival, it would rise to: 97 + 50 = 147.

The Estimated Value (in PT) The Estimated Value comes from the Score, expressed in Loyalty Points:

Estimated Value = Score × 10 PT (minimum 10 PT)

So the example artist (Score 97) is worth about 970 PT; with the Festival win (Score 147) it would rise to 1,470 PT.

Important things to know:

  • The Score can go down if Dislikes outweigh the accumulated points, but sales count far more (×10).
  • Artists in the leaderboards are sorted by Score (highest to lowest).
  • The Estimated Value is NOT a real economic valuation, nor a promise of profit or an investment: it’s an internal game value, based only on community metrics (sales, votes, Festival).

:backhand_index_pointing_right: In short: sales + votes + wins = Score; Score × 10 = Estimated Value in PT. It’s the basis for prices and offers in the Market.
