It’s one of the most common questions — and rightly so: before investing time and energy in growing an artist, you want to know “who owns what.” Here’s the answer, no fluff.
The artist is owned by INarte. The synthetic artist’s identity, its name and its works belong to the platform. As a Talent Manager, you receive a management license: the right to nurture, promote and grow it.
In practice, what you can do:
Manage the artist, define its image and artistic direction
Release songs, promote it and build its audience
Earn commissions on everything it sells
What you cannot do:
“Take the artist away” from the platform or resell its identity as if it were your own
And the money I’ve earned? It is and stays yours forever. Even if one day you stop managing that artist, the commissions you’ve already earned are untouchable.
Why does it work this way? This model protects the quality and consistency of the ecosystem: INarte guarantees production, distribution and legal protection, while you focus on the creative and strategic side — the fun part. It’s also why management can be revoked in extreme cases (e.g. long inactivity or behavior that harms the artist’s image): the rules keep the environment healthy for everyone.
A note for those who want more: there’s also a Publisher model, designed for those who create their own content and want to keep the intellectual property, granting INarte commercial exclusivity for a defined period. It’s a more advanced path, which we’ll cover in a dedicated post.
In short: you’re the manager, INarte is the “record label.” You build the success, and the earnings you generate stay yours.
